Est-il étonnant d'entendre Damián mélanger deux genres diamétralement opposés ? Non : Sadness, Trhä... sont autant de projets qui transcendent les genres. Malgré tout (et c'est là son génie), on ne peut être que stupéfié du résultat que ça donne. Cette première demo de life pose les bases, celle d'un punk/hardcore qui n'est pas politique mais émotif sans que l'on puisse comprendre les paroles — ou *précisément* parce qu'on ne les comprend pas ? Deux morceaux fugaces, détonants et crépusculaires.

Beaucoup d'éléments incroyables dans ce I, mais ce sont deux aspects qui m'ont le plus marqué. La première, c'est la qualité sonore nette et assez lourde qui se rapproche presque de ce qu'on pourrait entendre dans du funeral doom ("in my dream" excepté, mais ça fait sens). La deuxième, c'est le chant puisque Damián est accompagné par Chloe Smith, et ce qu'elle fait... comment ça peut être aussi puissant ?? Ce qui m'amène à cette question : y a-t-il quelque chose que Damián ne sait *pas* faire ?!
